3M Tegaderm - Hydrocolloid Wound Dressing (formerly Tegasorb) is a sterile hydrocolloid dressing that is waterproof and impermeable to liquids, bacteria, and viruses.  The inner layer absorbs exudate (drainage) faster than other hydrocolloids, usually within the first 48 hours.  The outer layer is breathable and quickly releases moisture vapor.  This ensures the perfect mixture of oxygen and moisture, providing the wound with idea conditions for rapid healing.  When strong, long lasting wound care products are needed, choose 3M Tegaderm products.  Sterile.  Latex free.
