3M Steri-Strip - Wound Closure System is a two part healing system, containing a Ster-strip and Tegaderm dressing. The Steri-strip first closes the wound, then the protective Tegaderm dressing is applied, keeping dirt and irritants away from wound. This wound closure system can be used for lacerations, and surgical incisions. Ideal for use with or without skin sutures and/or staples. Sterile.
Steri-strips are made of porous, non-woven materials, reinforced with filament for strength that are then coated with a hypoallergenic adhesive.
Note: Steri-Strip is attached to the back of the Tegaderm dressing. To apply, remove Steri-strip and attach to wound, then apply Tegaderm dressing. See attached PDF below for detailed instruction on how to use this product.
