Stoma Paste
Stoma paste is a caulk-like substance that helps fill in any divots or uneven areas of skin. This provides a flat surface for your ostomy wafer to adhere to, which will create a better seal. A better seal reduces the risk of leaks and helps keep your wafer properly adhered to your body. Ostomy paste goes between your body and the sticky side of the wafer. Stoma paste can be applied to the ostomy wafer itself or directly to your skin, whichever you prefer. After applying the paste, it is a good idea to let it set for a minute or two before applying the ostomy wafer to your body. This will keep the wafer from slipping around during application.
Stoma Powder

If you try to apply your ostomy wafer to wet skin, it will not adhere properly and can also cause further skin damage. Before you attach your ostomy system, you'll need to apply a thin layer of the powder to the broken skin and tap off any excess powder. Stoma Caps
A stoma cap is a very small closed ostomy pouch that is worn in place of a regular ostomy system. This mini pouch holds very little output, so it should not be worn for a long period of time. It is commonly worn during times of intimacy, while swimming, or when you need a small discreet solution to your ostomy care. Stoma caps are available in one-piece and two-piece styles, just like traditional ostomy bags. A stoma cap should not be used if your stoma is active or unpredictable. Generally, this product works best for people with a colostomy. Stoma caps are less appropriate for people with an ileostomy and should not be used if you have a urostomy.
