Telfa pads are wound dressings made from absorbent cotton gauze. Covidien refers to these dressings as "ouchless" due to the non-adherent base layer. This prevents the pad from sticking to your wound and damaging healing tissue. Each Telfa bandage is individually wrapped in a peel-open package. A Telfa bandage is best suited for lightly exuding wounds. This primary dressing is available with or without an adhesive border.
