Product Information

Foley catheter insertion trays are kits that contain all the supplies needed to comfortably and safely insert an indwelling foley catheter. These can include items such as PVI swabs, gloves, and a collection container. The sterile contents of the trays are used to avoid the introduction of bacteria into the urinary tract or the bladder. Some kits include a pre-lubricated bladder catheter, while others allow you to choose the best catheter for your needs.

When it comes to foley catheter care at home, you must clean the device regularly in order to remove any material that may clog the catheter tubing. Clogged catheter tubing obstructs the flow of urine. This can be painful and can cause urine to backflow into the kidneys, which could lead to infection. Irrigating your foley catheter also rids it of bacteria and contaminants. A foley irrigation tray includes tools such as a graduate container, alcohol wipes, and a syringe.
