Telfa - Adhesive Island Dressing is an all-in-one dressing that is made of soft, non-woven backing that conforms around wounds. This dressing seals on all 4 sides. Each dressing offers an absorbent core made out of 100% USP grade cotton. The cotton helps to minimize skin maceration. This Telfa Island dressing is ideal for lightly draining wounds. It is also a secure dressing for central and peripheral IV sights. Each dressing is in a sterile peel-back package.

Telfa Island pads are made of polyester wound contact film polymer. This film has 382 holes per square inch with a diameter of 0.020 to 0.030 inch. This film has been test targeted to provide the perfect balance of non-adherence and exudate migration. The moisture vapor transmission rate helps to control the fluid loss while still providing a moist wound environment.

These adult bandages will not stick to the wound site and they are gentle on the skin. They cover well and can be used just like a regular "band-aid" but with a more comfortable fit and larger sizes for larger wounds. These should be stocked in first aid kits and medicine cabinets too.
