Coloplast Ostomy Sensura Mio Convex Flip ostomy bags and wafers offer ostomy solutions for outward body profiles such as hernias, bulges, and curves. Mio Flip has star-shaped barrier that can grip outward areas easily, the petals on the wafer flip downward and secure the ostomy wafer to the skin surrounding the stoma. The barrier is easy to apply because it is inverted. This inverted barrier is easy to position accurately and when you are ready you can easily flip the petals over the hernia or bulge to achieve a secure connection.

SenSura Mio Convex Flip has the same full circle filter you have come to expect with the SenSura Mio line. The pre-filter section helps keep the main inner filter from becoming saturated. This helps cut down on ballooning, even at night.

The textile material of the pouch is a discreet gray and is less visible under clothes. The material also feels comfortable against your skin. Showering and swimming works well with this material because it dries quickly and holds up to normal wear.

The Flip line by Coloplast has one-piece ostomy bags as well as two-piece ostomy bags. They are both available in drainable and closed. For the most part the closed end pouches are more suited to people who have a colostomy. The drainable pouches can be used by people who have a colostomy or an ileostomy. However, the urostomy bags should only be used by someone with a urostomy. The valve that empties the bag is specifically designed for the draining of urine. There is also a Flip ostomy wafer that works with the Sensura Mio Click line by Coloplast. Ostomy bags and wafers are not universal, prior to purchasing a two-piece ostomy system you will want to make sure the two products work together. This is a benefit to the one-piece ostomy bags, you only must make one purchase, the bag and wafer are connected.
