Coloplast SenSura Mio Convex Flip 1-Piece Cut-to-Fit Urostomy Bag is an opaque pouch with a star-shaped barrier designed to securely hold ostomy appliances to outward body areas such as hernias, bulges, or curves. The urostomy pouch has a special valve that can be emptied easily and then tucked up into the material of the pouch when not in use. The Sensura Mio can also be connected to extension tubing and then connected to a leg bag or night time urine bag if needed.

The star-shaped barrier is easy to apply. The petals are inverted so the wafer can be positioned properly and then the petals fold down, gripping the outward body area like a hand gripping a ball. This allows for a more secure connection between the urostomy wafer and the skin surrounding the stoma.
