Coloplast SenSura Mio Convex Flip 1-Piece Cut-to-Fit Drainable Ostomy Bagis a ostomy bag system designed to fit around hernias and bulges. The specially designed curved star-shape elastic adhesive on the ostomy wafer is made to fit outward body areas. What is an outward body area? An outward body area is when, because of surgeries or just living with a stoma, the area around the stoma is not perfectly flat. Hernias, bulges, scar tissue, any of these can cause your skin under or around the stoma to bulge outward. These kind of stomas are very common but traditional flat ostomy wafers don't work well with them. The Sunsura Mio Flip ostomy barrier works like a hand grabbing a ball and hugs the outward area which greatly increases the amount of contact between the skin and the adhesive barrier. The adhesive is elastic, it moves with your body so it follows your movements without pulling against the skin/ostomy wafer connection.

Each person is unique, so this system comes in 3 barrier sizes, small, medium, and large. The inner ring of the wafer supports the stoma and the outer petals flip down and gently but firmly grip the area around the stoma. Even when you move.

The full circle filter works in two stages. The first is the pre-filter which stops liquid from reaching the secondary filter. The Sensura Mio filter even works at night to prevent ballooning. This cut-to-fit drainable ostomy bag can be cut to perfectly fit your individual stoma and emptied as needed. The EasiClose wide outlet is designed to be easier to drain because it is 1/2" wider than standard outlets. It also has a Velcro closure that is easy to seal and then tuck away.
