Coloplast Assura Irrigation Faceplate is designed to be used as a part of a one-piece appliance irrigation set. The Assura faceplate has two tabs on either side of the device, these tabs are used to attach an ostomy belt, such as the Coloplast Brava ostomy belt, to hold the faceplate in place during irrigation. Irrigation can be a source of security and freedom for people who have a sigmoid colostomy because it can help to enable regular and controlled bowel movements. Irrigation should not be attempted unless you have been instructed how to do so by your doctor.

This product is used in conjunction with an ostomy belt and an irrigation sleeve. We also sell the irrigation kit so you can have the ostomy supplies you need to safely irrigate your ostomy.
