ConvaTec Eakin - Rectangle Stoma Seal is a large 4" x 8" ostomy seal that forms a gel that helps protect stomal skin. The seal can be molded and shaped to fill in uneven areas around the skin for better ostomy wafer adhesion or it can be used around the stoma to prevent leaks. This ostomy seal be used by people with flush and recessed stomas as well as those with a more standard stoma. Eakin is designed to absorb excess moisture, this helps keep stomal skin dry which protects the skin from coming into contact with body fluids. The generous rectangle shape can be cut and shaped to fit as needed. Eakin seals can be used with one piece and two piece ostomy systems. You can use Eakin seals with colostomy bags as well as ileostomy and urostomy ostomy systems. Eakin Cohesive seals mold into a variety of shapes. They can also be stretched or stacked as needed to form a flat area for the best ostomy wafer adhesion which will help prevent leaks. Eakin can be used by people with sensitive skin, it is made of non-irritating materials. This product is a 4" x 8" rectangle and it is sold in a box of 5.
