The McKesson Prevent Premium 8 Gallon Sharps Container is designed for the safe collection, handling, and transport of larger volumes of sharps waste. Made from durable, puncture- and leak-resistant plastic, this PG-II grade container combines high-capacity disposal with features designed to improve safety.

The touchless deposit system allows used sharps to be thrown away without unnecessary contact with the container's contents. A hinged lid stays connected to the container during use, making it convenient for disposing of larger volumes of sharps while helping save staff time.

For secure closure, the container features a 16-point positive locking lid system with audible clicks that help confirm the lid is properly locked. The hermetically sealed lid and Full Lock mode allow the container to be prepared for Seal and Ship procedures without secondary packaging when applicable lid closure instructions are followed.

Integrated side handles make the container easier to carry, while the nestable and stackable design helps maximize storage and shipping efficiency. The container is also compatible with most existing wall cabinets and brackets for added security and to help prevent unwanted access.
