Osto Ez Vent are vents that can be attached to any ostomy bag. The vent can be opened whenever needed to release the gas that builds up inside the pouch. Gas building up inside the ostomy bag can cause the ostomy bag to become detached from the ostomy wafer. Normally in order to vent your ostomy bag you will have to break the seal between the ostomy wafer and the pouch. The Osto-EZ-Vent enables you to simply open the attached vent and allow the gas to escape without weakening your pouch/wafer connection. The ostomy vent is easy to attach, open, and close so you can release air when and where necessary to provide comfort and relief, while avoiding accidents.
