3M Promogran Prisma Silver Collagen Matrix Wound Dressing is made from a matrix of 55% collagen, 44% oxidised regenerated cellulose(ORC), and 1% ORC/Silver. This wound dressing helps to "kick start" the healing process while providing protection from infection. When exudate mixes with the matrix the wound dressing becomes soft and conformable to the skin and can be worn for up to seven days. It is a biodegradable gel, allowing contact with all areas of the wound. Ideal for diabetic, venous, pressure, and other ulcers. Also works well with traumatic and surgical wounds.
