BreatheRite is a brand of MDI spacers used along with a metered dose inhaler to help deliver a more consistent and accurate dose of medication. MDI spacers allow more medication to reach the lungs instead of getting trapped in the inhalation tube or mouth. BreatheRite products are made of a special type of anti-static plastic that prevents the medication from adhering to the MDI chamber or tubing. This assures that you are receiving the proper amount of medication you need for full breathing function. These hand held machines can be used with or without a nebulizer mask.
