What is Coban?
Coban is a bandage wrap made from a unique non-woven material that adheres to itself, but doesn't stick to skin or hair. A coban dressing eliminates the need for pins, clips, or tape in order to be held in place.
What is Coban used for?
Coban is commonly used as a compression bandage to support strained joints. It can also hold non-adhesive wound dressings or gauze in place. Coban wraps are used in veterinary settings as well.
Additional Information Coban is lightweight and water resistant. It stays in place but can be undone and adjusted without losing adhesion. These bandages can also be torn by hand, so no scissors are required. Coban comes in a variety of different colors and widths to choose from.
