Aquacel - Foam Dressing with Adhesive Border has a soft absorbent foam pad, an AQUACEL interface, a gentle silicone adhesive, and a waterproof/bacteria barrier. AQUACEL retains as much as 3 times more fluid than gauze alone. AQUACEL dressings can be used for pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, incisions, donor sites, second degree burns, and infected wounds. Waterproof barrier allows patient to shower and bathe with ease.
