Medical adhesives and removers are commonly used with ostomy appliances and external catheters to attach and remove them from the body. We offer a wide variety of non-irritating formulas that are gentle and effective. Both of these products help extend the wear of your medical appliance.

Medical adhesive is a skin-safe glue that creates a strong hold between you and your catheter or ostomy appliance. If you find that your ostomy wafer pulls away from your skin or rolls up along the edges, applying a thin layer of adhesive will provide extra hold. External catheter users can coat the entire shaft of the penis with a light amount of adhesive, which prevents the catheter from becoming loose or falling off. This is an alternative to adhesive catheter strips. Skin adhesives are available in brush-on liquids, sprays, and single-use wipes.

When it's time to remove your ostomy appliance or external catheter, using an an adhesive remover will make the process more comfortable and less damaging to the skin. Adhesive removers break down the strong glue that keeps bandages, medical tape, and ostomy appliances in place. It prevents you from having to pull these products off your body or harshly scrub your skin to remove the adhesive. They also also soothe dry, sensitive skin. By thoroughly removing any residue from your skin, the next product you apply will adhere better and wear for a longer period of time. Skin adhesive removers are available in the form of disposable wipes as well as bottles of liquid.
