LoFric Hydro-Kit - Closed Sytem Hydrophilic Catheter is an all-in-one intermittent catheter system combining a catheter, water pocket, and collection bag. This 14 Fr or 16 Fr catheter is 16 inches long and made for single use. The water pocket is easily activated by folding and pressing to release the water. The integral 1000 cc collection bag is long and narrow, making it more convenient and easier to empty. The Lofric Hydro-Kit II has a low-friction catheter with Urotonic Surface Technology. The no-touch handling guide feature eliminates the need to touch the catheter, yet allows for a firm grip. Each catheter includes an insertion guide and smooth catheter eyes. Latex free.

Formerly sold under sku# AST9831440, Wellspect has recently changed to a new part number AST42014403. All the same qualities you have come to love in the LoFric Hydro-Kit II but with a new product id. These catheters sport the Nelaton tip (rounded) along with the Urotronic Surface Technology for lower friction and maximum comfort.

Material composition for these catheters include Polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) and sodium chloride (NaCl) for the hydrophilic surface coating. The catheter is made of Polyolefin-based elastomer, POBE (Nelaton). Finally, the water packet includes laminate foil of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene (PE) and aluminum, sterile water.
