The Monaghan Aerochamber2GO Valved Holding Chamber is a 2-in-1 inhaler chamber and protective carrying case for a pressurized metered dose inhaler. A metered dose inhaler, or MDI, is the type of inhaler that releases medicine in a short spray. This chamber gives the medicine more room to slow down before it is breathed in, helping more of it reach the lungs instead of landing in the mouth or back of the throat.

This product is made for children and adults who use a compatible metered dose inhaler. A chamber can make inhaler use easier because the user does not have to coordinate breathing and pressing the inhaler at the exact same time. The inhaler is placed into the chamber, then the user presses the inhaler while breathing in slowly and deeply through the mouthpiece.

Between uses, the Aerochamber2GO works as a storage case for the inhaler. This helps keep the inhaler covered, easy to find, and protected from dirt, spills, and everyday wear and tear. The small size also makes it easier to carry in a purse, pocket, backpack, or travel bag without needing a separate spacer and case.

The chamber is designed to fit many commonly prescribed metered dose inhalers. Some inhalers fit upright inside the case, while others may need to be flipped over before the case is closed. This helps the chamber hold different inhaler shapes without making the product larger than needed.

The Aerochamber2GO is made with anti-static material. Anti-static material helps reduce the amount of medicine that sticks to the inside walls of the chamber. This helps keep the medication moving toward the user during inhalation.

The chamber can be used right out of the package and should be cleaned weekly. It may be washed by hand with warm water and liquid dish soap, or placed on the top rack of a dishwasher without using heated dry. Monaghan recommends replacing the chamber after 12 months of use.
