It can also be used as a stoma cover when showering. The Assura stoma cap is a pouching solution for those with a sigmoid colostomy who regularly irrigate. The unique spiral adhesive offers secure adherence to your skin. The adhesive also works to absorb excess moisture which means less irritation and a more skin friendly experience.

This is a 2-piece stoma cap and it works with all SenSura Click and Assura 2-piece ostomy barriers. It does not work with the SenSura Mio Click. The benefit of a 2-piece system is flexibility. You can leave your ostomy wafer in place and then switch from a full size ostomy bag to a stoma cap whenever the need arises.
