Hollister New Image is a line of 2 piece ostomy bags and skin barriers that feature a floating flange. A floating flange means that there is a small gap between the skin wafer and the coupling. This gap provides space for you to put your fingers under when attaching the bag to the barrier. Doing so reduces pressure on the abdomen during the attachment process. A floating flange can be especially helpful for new ostomates who may be sore while recovering from surgery. The Hollister New Image bags and wafers easily snap together.
