Med-Aire Alternating Pressure Pump and Pad System with End Flaps

This product is available individually.

The Med-Aire Alternating Pressure Pump and Pad System has variable settings on the pump, which means different customers can enjoy different levels of pressure and circulation for different conditions. The durable vinyl material resists tears while staying soft and non-irritating on the skin, and the pump has built-in brackets to make mounting it to your bed much easier. Contrary to the other version of this pad, this one uses end flaps to keep it stabilized and avoid slipping.

What is an alternating pressure and pad system?

An alternating pressure system has individual bubble air cells, and the air circulates through them periodically to transfer where pressure is being put on the body. For people who are bedridden, it takes pain away from bony areas, such as the hip, heels, and tailbone. This helps avoid pressure injuries, which is localized damage to the soft tissue within the body, and the skin itself.

Product Features:

  • Quiet pump that inflates and deflates 130 individual bubble air cells
  • 4 liters per minute pump produces consistent air flow over an adjustable 5 minute cycle
  • Variable pressure setting allows for individualized treatment
  • Durable, heavy gauge, premium vinyl bubble pad
  • Built-in brackets for easy mounting
  • End flaps to anchor the pad to the bed
  • Premium vinyl material
  • Sold individually
