Medline Excel - 2000 Wheelchair (Desk-Length Armrest) is a k2 wheelchair that has a carbon steel frame with a rust and chip-resistant chrome plating. The armrests are upholstered and padded in vinyl. Seat dimensions are available in 16"w x 16"d, 18"w x 16"d, and 20"w x 16"d. Each seat has threaded seat screw inserts that help to reduce stripping from upholstery changes. There is a chart pocket on the back of the chair. Dual axle hemi-height which will raise and lower 2", allowing the seat to floor height on the chair to adjust between 18" to 20".

2000 wheelchairs have a weight capacity of 300 lbs. Each arm is upholstered in vinyl and is removable. This K2 basic wheelchair offers the option of swing-away footrests or elevating footrests.

The "K2" code is one of the most basic codes that is assigned to standard wheelchairs. Hemi axle wheelchairs are designed with the shorter person in mind, that is why the floor to seat height is adjustable by 2". These lower seat options, allow for easier movement while seated in the chair. Ideal for someone who likes to use his or her feet to propel around the room. It is a sturdy and durable standard width wheelchair for everyday use.

Note: Elevating footrest models feature a notched, stainless steel ratchet bar to lock the legrests securely in place. Both the elevating and swing-away legrest are detachable.
