Medline Excel - 2000 Wheelchair (Full Length Armrest) is a K2 wheelchair that has a carbon steel frame with a rust and chip-resistant chrome plating. These chairs have permanent full length armrests that are upholstered and padded in vinyl. Seat dimensions are available in 18"w x 16"d. There is a chart pocket on the back of the chair. Each wheelchair features a dual axle hemi-height seat adjustment setting that raises and lowers (distance from the floor) and extra 2". The dual-axle hemi allows for a lower seat height, making it more comfortable and easier to use for shorter people.

2000 wheelchairs have a weight capacity of 300 pounds. Each arm is upholstered in vinyl. These armrests are not removable. This K2 basic wheelchair offers the option of swing-away or elevating footrests and a variety of other choices to choose from. See chart below.

What is a K0002 wheelchair? K0002 is a code that is on all K2 chairs. It indicates that this is a standard Hemi low seat wheelchair. This information is an insurance standard and helps us to know it is an hemi axle chair. Each chair adjusts from the floor to seat height by 2". These lower seat options allow for easier movement while seated in the chair. Ideal for people who like to propel with their feet and move around the room without the aid of pushing the wheels. Note: Elevating footrest models feature a notched, stainless steel ratchet bar to lock the legrests securely in place. Both the elevating and swing-away legrest are detachable.
