Rusch MMG Soft Closed System Catheter is a sterile pre-lubricated intermittent catheter contained within a collection bag. A closed system catheter prevents your hands or surfaces from coming into contact with the catheter. The catheter also employs an introducer tip. The introducer tip helps stop the tip of the catheter from coming into contact with the higher levels of bacteria found in the first 1.5 cm of the urethra. The closed system combined with the introducer tip helps reduce urinary tract infections or UTIs. This is a soft catheter made from PVC, which means it isn't as stiff as some other catheter types.
