Rusch MMG Soft Closed System Catheter is a sterile pre-lubricated intermittent catheter contained within a collection bag. A closed system catheter prevents your hands or surfaces from coming into contact with the catheter. The catheter also employs an introducer tip. The introducer tip helps stop the tip of the catheter from coming into contact with the higher levels of bacteria found in the first 1.5 cm of the urethra. The closed system combined with the introducer tip helps reduce urinary tract infections or UTIs. This is a soft catheter made from PVC, which means it isn't as stiff as some other catheter types. The softer catheter can be more comfortable especially if you are having to cath several times a day. You can purchase these catheters by the each or by the case of 100. The soft catheter is available in 14 Fr and 16 Fr.
