Therafin - Superslide with Hand Holes and Notches is a standard transfer board that is made of 3/8" thick 7 ply birch. It is coated with a clear melamine surface. Superslide transfer boards offer a splinter-free surface that is smooth from edge to edge. The melamine surface means that there is no lacquer to wear off, this board is intended to last. Therafin Superslide is stress testtargeted and will hold up to 400 pounds. The over-all weight of the board is between 1.5 and 2.4 pounds depending on the length. Superslide is available in two sizes, 26" and 29". Both sizes come with two hand holds and notches on both sides. Notches help make it easier to transfer using a wheelchair because the notch can hold the board against the arm of the wheelchair more securely.
