Therafin - Theraslide Premium Transfer Board with Notches and Hand Holes has tapered ends for more comfortable transfers. The board is 1/2" thick in the middle and then tapers down to 1/4" at the ends. This makes it easier to get the board under the person using it so transfers happen smoothly. It comes with vertical hand holes that can fit your fingers which enables you to grip the board. The notches in the board can be braced against the arm or the frame of the wheelchair to hold the board securely while transferring. Theraslide is a premium transfer board that is walnut stained and then clear sealed. It is made with a 7 ply birch wood base, with 3 additional plies form-laminated on top. This transfer board is stress testtargeted and has a weight capacity of 450 pounds. You can choose between two lengths, 26" and 29", both lengths are 8" wide.
