The DeRoyal Covaderm Plus wound dressing has multiple layers to foster the best possible environment for healing, all while protecting the injury from outside bacteria and debris. It is a multilayer adhesive barrier dressing. One layer is a non-adherent wound contact layer that protects fragile tissue. The second layer is an absorbent pad, which wicks drainage away from the wound site. The third layer is a breathable polyurethane film that allows moisture vapor to pass through while providing a barrier to external contaminants.
