Molnlycke Mepilex - Foam Heel Dressing is shaped to fit any heel.  This heel dressing is made up of three layers; a soft silicone wound-contact layer (Safetac), a flexible absorbent pad of polyurethane foam, and an outer vapor permeable and moisture proof film.  Molnlycke's Safetac silicone technology prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound, yet adheres to the surrounding skin.  The flexible absorbent pad absorbs exudate and ensures a low risk of maceration.  The moisture proof film helps to maintain a moist wound-healing environment.

Depending on the condition of the wound, Mepilex heel dressing can remain in place for several days.  This dressing can be lifted and adjusted without loss of adherent properties.  If needed, this foam heel dressing is suitable for use under compression bandages. Box of 5.
