Medline K4 - Lightweight Wheelchair (Desk Length/Plus Accessories) is made of tough nylon upholstery with a durable frame and a black coat finish. Each chair has swing back desk arms with an easy flip back arm release, adjustable height armrests, swing away foot rests, and anti-tippers. These added options make movement to and from the chair much easier. Arms and calf pads are upholstered and padded. This wheelchair is in the K4 division of wheelchairs, proving it is a high strength, lightweight wheelchair. Seat sizes include: 18"w x 16"d. Each chair weighs only 31 lbs when assembled. Weight capacity is 300 lbs.

These lightweight wheelchairs feature hemi-height dual axles. These quick release axles allow tool free removal of rear wheels. Each chair has hemi-height adjustable axles that rise and lower 2". Seat to floor height range is 18" to 20".

Extra features included on this model of wheelchair include: adjustable height armrests and an anti-tip device. These are standard with the K4 Lightweight Plus chair and are considered options on other K4 Lightweight wheelchairs.

Can you tell the differences between the K4 Basic Lightweight Wheelchair and the K4 Lightweight Wheelchair? Each chair has many similar features but some differences to note would be the larger seat sizes and larger weight capacity in the K4 Basic Lightweight wheelchair. The K4 Basic Lightweight wheelchair also uses the softer nylon material. The K4 Lightweight Wheelchair uses a tougher nylon and a choice of extra accessories that are included in some models such as anti-tipper, adjustable back height, and a variety of arm styles to choose from. Weight capacity on the lightweight chair is 300 lbs. Weight capacity on the Basic Lightweight chair ranges up to 350 lbs.

Note: Elevating leg rest models are detachable and feature a notched, stainless steel ratchet bar to lock the legrests securely in place.
